Description
Polon Alfa TUN-38EX Universal Heat Detector is designed to detect a rapid rise of temperature concurrent with a fire at its early development stage. The detector is installed behind a proper spark proof separator in explosion hazard areas. In the moment of fire hazard, the detector transmits an alarm signal to the fire alarm control panel. The TUN-38EX detectors can operate in lines/loops of the IGNIS 1000 or on the sideline of ADC-4001M adapter in POLON 4000 fire alarm control panels.

- The TUN?38Ex heat detector reacts to a rise of temperature occurring during initial phase of fire
- The TUN?38Ex heat detectors are connected to fire detecting lines through intrinsically safe barrier or separator
- The detectors are installed in rooms and zones qualified as 1st and 2nd explosive hazard category
- It is provided for working together in fire detecting lines with control panels manufactured by POLON?ALFA
- In order to remove electrostatic charge, low surface resistance material is utilised
- The thermistor is protected with a specially shaped cover that ensures proper directional characteristics
- The detector is provided with a signalling LED diode that shines in alarm mode
- An additional optical alarm signal can be obtained by connecting the WZ?31 alarm
- The indicator enables fast localisation of the activated detector and is helpful in periodic detectorÂ’s inspections.Â
- During renovation or painting works detectors shall be protected from damage or dirt.
