Description

Distributed input/output modules allow you to monitor and control remote points with just a two-wire communication bus back to the main controller.

EXCEL 5000 DDC controller for all HVAC control applications, and building automation functionalities. The controller can be applied for stand-alone operation, dial-up and in network systems. For all buildings.

Features

Control software: free programmable with CARE software programmable with standard modal software modules.
Hardware inputs: Panel Bus and LON Bus input modules available for:
measurement of temperature, relative humidity, pressure etc..
Hardware outputs: Panel Bus and LON Bus input modules available for: measurement of temperature, relative humidity, pressure etc. Contact status from relays, thermostats etc.
Operator panels: RS232 port available for operator panel XI582 or XI882; these panels can be used for adjustment of set points, alarm limits, fixing in/outputs, override functions, graphic trending etc
Management applications: XBS or EBI PC software can be applied for a central operator and all other building automation functions.
Stand-alone operation: yes
Bus system description: communication bus (physical C-bus or C-bus over LON) for data exchange with other EXCEL 5000 controllers and for building automation management systems (max. 30 devices per bus, incl. Centrals / Management Frontends) LonWorks(R) bus,Panel bus for communication to Panel I/O modules.

The Honeywell XFL823A – Distributed I/O, 12 Binary Input Module , ip30 rating is Protected from touch by fingers and objects greater than 12 millimetres. Protected from long term immersion up to a specified pressure, but should be avoid from dust and commercial use.
